Who is this course for?
Complete beginners of any age, including those who can read Quranic script without understanding it.
What you will learn
- Read and write the Arabic alphabet confidently
- Around 500 everyday words
- Simple sentences in the present and past
- Introduce yourself and hold a short exchange
Course curriculum
- The alphabet, reading and writing
- Nouns, and the definite article
- Pronouns and possession
- Verbs in the present tense
- Past tense, and putting sentences together
What you get at the end
A written progress report each month, shared with the parent or student.

Will this help me understand the Quran?
It builds the foundation. Quranic Arabic is a separate course that assumes the grammar taught here.
Which dialect is taught?
Modern Standard Arabic, which is the written language and the one closest to the Quran.
